So, after all the issues with 1.7.2.5, I have decided that we will probably shut the server down by the end of the month. At this current time, our group doesn’t play much, and the server is not really doing us any good. If you would like to donate to the server, let me know, the more people that donate, the less it costs to run it. At this current time, our bill is $50 a month. Anything anyone wants to provide towards that will keep the server running.

Question about Server status.

Since the server is currently running 1.7.2.5, tents and vehicles are not saving. So I have to ask everyone who plays on the server….. Keep 1.7.2.5 and hope for a fix, or roll back to 1.7.2.4?

So if your currently getting kicked for script restriction #98. Please wait for Battleye to fix it, its kicking people at random, and I cannot even log into the in game control panel without getting kicked.

Furthermore, vehicles and tents are not saving properly, so the game is at the moment, COMPLETELY BROKEN.

Taking a stroll….

So the other night, Kungfu_Grip and I (ZeRo) decided to take a stroll on the bikes…. We decided to go looking for downed heli’s which we did end up finding.

Kungfu_grip notices something doesn’t look right about my shadow…. so he gets closer to investigate.

Notice how smooth his shadow is…. now look at mine…. Haha, apparently the shadowing takes priority on your own character…..

So we find the first downed heli…. After killing off all but one zombie, we move in, and find nothing except…

(1) pair of NVG’s. We both already have a set, so I grab them and put them in my backpack, to take back to camp in case one of us dies….

We continue on…

We are both cruising along about 40 kph, and I veer slight right, Kungfu_grip veers slight left….

He hits me, my bike slides sideways, throwing me from the bike, I am bleeding, so I have to bandage up…. Road rash, I hate that…

I go back to my bike, and it will not work, it is stuck in the ground…. Gotta love this game. We are well over 7k from camp… One of us is staying here til the server restarts. We take a break from riding, and go shoot some zombies in a nearby town…. We were shooting them about 400m out with my M4A3, and his AK-74. We get low on ammo, so Kungfu_grip decides to log off near the bike, and decide to continue on… not before trying to fix the bike by ramming it…

No luck, so I move on…. Not 100 m from where Kungfu_grip logs off, I spot a second downed heli….

I make it there, and notice

(3) 200 rd ammo
(20) Stanag clips

(10) Stanag SD clips

It takes me two trips, but I am able to grab everything except 1 200 rd belt, as I am leaving I see a survivor heading towards me, so I book it out of there….

I take a trip the next day (8/7/12) and get shot at near Stary, make it all the way east, and somehow battleeye stops responding, so I get disconnected…. Upon reconnection, my bike is missing…. So now I will be looking for my bike when I log in next…. If you find it, and want to return it, I will reward you.

So today we are playing, and after searching for nearly 3 hours, we can’t seem to find a vehicle anywhere anymore…. After getting a tip from “Elliot the Black” I decide to do some searching of the log files. Now, we found a few things that didn’t quite look right, and we will be reporting a few people to Battle eye… That being said, we happened to notice that someone was teleporting vehicles…. Here is what we found.

So we decided to fix the problem… leaving the vehicles here was not an option as people would just fight over them, and being an admin, I had to destroy them….. So here we go.

1 Satchel charge, and all of the AS50 ammo that I have come across….

Kaboom!

So today, a couple of us got on and decided to go looking for vehicles… For some reason, our server isn’t saving the contents of tents on a restart…. Shame, as I thought that issue was fixed with 1.7.2.4 We lost gear again, leading me to believe that noone actually looted the initial tent…. It was the automated server restart that did it. Anyways, we got started early, goofed around in Stary for a bit, around lunch time, my brother and I logged off to eat lunch. In that timeframe, someone shot and killed Hatchet-Man…

Now I know that he shouldn’t have been in Stary for that long, he was really asking to be killed, thankfully he had already lost most of his good gear from dying earlier….

I log back in, and decide to go look for a boat, as I was going to go looking for the chopper on Skalisty island… I make it to the coast and find this beauty sitting next to my favorite ship

I make it past Berezino, deciding that this thing is just too slow, I see a van in the grass…. and decide to meet the rest of the team…

So we decide to meet at Little hill, then catch the last person at Vishnoye….

The road was completely blocked, and I decided to detour, THROUGH the barn….. bad idea….

The first door was no problem, van drove right in…. heading towards the second door, the back seat driver Syn, tells me we aren’t going to fit, followed by Kungfu_grip, and Rage…..

We didn’t fit…. last thing I see is my camera glitching, throwing me under the concrete slab, I am unconscious, Syn has died, Rage is knocked out, and Kungfu_grip the passenger in the front seat is injured but stable. We were going 5 kmh according to the speedometer…. Day Z didn’t care…. I cannot recover in time to bandage my wounds, nor does Kungfu_grip find me, so I die…. After a short amount of time, Rage awakens, and starts fixing himself, as well as giving a transfusion to Kungfu_grip.

I respawn in Kamarovo, estimate the direction to Vishnoye and take off sprinting for my dead body. I arrive just to the right of Zub castle, and run the rest of the way to Vishnoye, attracting some hungry friends…. Kungfu_grip and Rage dispatch them, and I loot my corpse. I have everything back, sans my ghillie…. Oh well….

Syn spawns in Elektro, and runs back, he is able to loot his corpse, and we move on. Looking for a vehicle again, we head to Gorka… Find nothing, and Syn decides to log off. We continue, and decide to go to Skalisty island, since we had yet to make it there…. We run to the coast, and grab the boat, exactly where I left it…. We put some gas in it, and take off….

After driving for 30 minutes, we realize that we can make it much further, faster, on foot.

We decide to run, and we eventually arrive at the coast, facing Skalisty off in the distance. We decide to tempt fate, and swim…

We had realized while running to Skalisty, that I somehow caught the dreaded infection…. We make it to Skalisty and start a fire, warming ourselves, and then continuing on to check the island. No helicopter…. shame, so I run into a black building after somehow getting a zombie to chase me, and after dispatching 5 of them, one sneaks through the wall, and knocks me out…. at 3k blood, I am saved, I bandage up, Rage gives me a transfusion, and we finish scouting the island….

Kungfu_grip decides to log off, so Rage and I decide to head to Elektro to look for antibiotics…. We make it to the hospital, and low and behold, there is one package of them left…. I take them, and we run out of town…. After getting out of town, we look for a few more vehicle spawns…. and then eventually log off….

The moral of this blog is, according to our team…. Don’t let me drive…. ANYTHING, except bikes, where I can only hurt myself…. What I feel the truth is, its an alpha, and I am trying things that noone else does, causing a Van to explode at 5 km/h is not how something is supposed to work…. Much less kill the driver, and back seat passenger on the right side, and leaving the front passenger, and rear left side alive…..

So if you are wondering where vehicles are on our server, they are out there… minus two at least (my doing).
